Sanghee Dobson has established Illicit Massage Business (IMB)-focused working groups for law enforcement and victim advocates, fostering collaboration and enhancing the effectiveness of anti-trafficking efforts. A trailblazer in the IMB-focused field, she developed specialized IMB screening tools. She also delivers IMB targeted training to law enforcement, victim services, and social service providers.
Previously, Sanghee Dobson served as the Associate Director of the Survivors of Trafficking Empowerment Program (STEP) at Refugee Services of Texas (RST). In this role, Her team provided critical support to survivors of human trafficking, violent crimes, and runaway youth, as well as Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth (CSEY) as part of Travis County care coordination. Her leadership at STEP contributed to a 600% increase in RST’s operational responses. When she was a crisis case manager, she achieved a 99% retention rate for minor clients.
She is a member of the Texas Human Trafficking Prevention Coordinating Council and the Texas Human Trafficking Prevention Task Force representing TDLR. Additionally, she serves as an advisory board member for the Center to Counter Human Trafficking (CCHT) at Texas A&M International University. She is holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
